Old Programs and Utilities

As applications age and fall out of being generally supported we move them here so they can at least still be used by those that want to. The source is available for these applications upon request or we may even release a new version with new features depending on the request and our current work load.

Pathfind has been ported to Unix (GCC), 16 bit Windows, and 32 bit Windows. This tool searches the current path to find a file you give it. It was written to help make sure that DLL's were in the current path, but can be used to find any file within the path. This does not take wildcards and does not work well when run on a networked drive (due to file I/O speeds and resource locking). The files are are zipped together in the windows case or gzipped and TARed in the linux case, and includes C source for the program as well as binaries. This is freeware written in C.

The Splitter application includes source and a 16-bit executable for a program that peels bytes from either the beginning or the end of a data file. Not a terribly complicated program but useful when trying to pull a sample of data out of a large file.

Remove Character includes source and a 16-bit executable. This program removes all occurances of a given character from a text file.
